I have been active all my life – I swam competitively from age 7 through high school, played lacrosse, and rowed in high school and rowed on my college club team. But when I became an ‘adult’, I floundered a bit with my fitness. I couldn’t seem to get into a good groove and stick to it. I came to realize that I like being coached and part of a team. I fulfilled that need with Endorphin. Not only do I get to be coached by the best instructors out there, I get to encourage and support my fellow Endorphinites while getting encouraged and supported at the same time. If that isn’t a team, I don’t know what is.
The other aspect that keeps me on track is that Endorphin isn’t one-dimensional, so I don’t get bored with my fitness routine. On a good week (one that I am not traveling for work, so I get to work out every day), you can find me at noon Kinesis, Warriors, Cycle/Yoga, and Power Vinyasa classes. Every day and every class is different, so it keeps my mind and body challenged and wanting to come back for more. At 42, I am in the best shape of my life and getting stronger every day.
