In this three hour clinic, you will learn more about your body’s flexibility, balance and strength and how to improve these areas for the ski season ahead. This workshop will assess your baseline flexibility and balance. The yoga flows will strengthen your entire body, relieve sore muscles, and prevent injuries. They will help you reduce daily stress, and boost your confidence on and off the hill. This course focuses on both the mental and physical aspects of training that can benefit everyone on the mountain, from the expert veteran skier to someone just starting the sport. Yoga, a mind-body discipline that combines physical poses, controlled breathing, meditation and relaxation, is one of the best ways to accomplish those goals. —and you don’t need yoga experience.  Retired pro skier, PT and certified yoga instructor Erin Hood will take you through each pose and flow, explaining the specific benefits for skiers, along with stress-reduction techniques, and how to get the most out of your days on the slopes.
