There is also a Kids&#x27; Tri for those 6-13 years of age.&#xd;&#xa;									&#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;&#xd;&#xa;									The LG Tri is held each year in memory of long-time local and friend Laura Genelin, a VVCF grant recipient who passed away in July 2008 from colon cancer.     <title>What Level of Fitness Are You&#x3f;</title>

    <description>One of the things I love about Endorphin is that we are inclusive to all levels of fitness.&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;So how do we accommodate you&#x3f;&#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;And how do you know where you are in this moment of life&#x3f;&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;Cardiovascular level&#x3f;&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;Well no matter who comes in that door we will want to understand your cardiorespiratory fitness. Are you quick to lose your breath, and in a base training level of fitness&#x3f;&#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b; Or are you working on efficiency, endurance training for upcoming races, or even power training where your goal is to be anaerobic often during your time at the gym&#x3f;&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;Functional Strength&#x3f;&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;When it comes to functional training and strength or your ability to use strength, balance, coordination, and flexibility that can vary person by person.&#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b; Some are still perfecting their form for lunges and others may be recovering from a recent surgery and injury and trying to recover that old body strength. Or you may be training for a weekly aerial performance. Some of us are focused on stability and mobility, load training and a good few on performance, like those of our members who compete in lifting competitions or aerial dance performances.&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;How do we handle this at Endorphin&#x3f;&#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;&#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;First we love the timer, timed rounds let everyone work at their own pace. And similarly the AMRAP &#x28;As Many Rounds Possible&#x29; lets those who are pushing for endurance and with a high level cardiovascular fitness double the number of rounds compared to the rest of us &#x28;or the last time they did a similar AMRAP cause it really is you against you&#x29;.&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;Those who asked for bonus rounds&#x3f; We got you. Who asked for a low impact option or an extra weight for load&#x3f; We got you.&#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b; And who does not ask for anything extra, yet we know you can do them.... We GOT YOU&#x21;&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;Wherever you are on your fitness journey, Endorphin can train you at the level you desire. Not to mention the amazing communal environment we have where we can all be inspired by those around us for staying with it, getting started, and pushing the limits.&#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b; &#xd;&#xa;</description>

    <title>The Endorphin Difference</title>

    <description>Like millions of Americans, when the pandemic hit my plans to go to the gym abruptly ended. I hadn&#x27;t really worked out since college and was never in the habit of going to the gym regularly. In those first months I tried a few YouTube classes, but it was always halfhearted and there was always an excuse not to do it. Once I got vaccinated, though, that excuse sort of went away. I decided to join a gym and knew I needed a class structure if I had any chance of sticking with it. &#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;After a largely sedentary year I had put on 20 pounds, lost nearly all of my muscle mass and was very anxious about going to a gym and confronting these facts. &#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;So, I went on a free trial tour of Denver gyms. I figured I would start with spin classes to build some leg strength and cardio. The gym I chose played the same Top 10 songs at ear splitting volume and the classes seemed to be more focused on looking good than working out. That wasn&#x27;t what I was looking for. I took my talents to a popular HIIT class and found that the instructors were either entirely absent or screaming in my face. &#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;I wasn&#x27;t looking for that either.&#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;Both of those experiences were pretty horrible. I felt dejected and unmotivated to continue this journey until I saw that Endorphin had an unlimited month for &#x24;69 and a huge variety of classes. I figured it was as good a deal as any, so I signed up. There had to be something there I would like, right&#x3f;&#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;From my first Warriors class with Nick, I knew I had found the right place. It was hard, but Nick was clearly an expert, and all of my fellow members were engaged and happy to be there. I cautiously went to more and more Endorphin classes, and at every one of them found this same vibrant community. I went to Nicole&#x27;s Warriors class and Vicky&#x27;s Ass &#x26; Abs class and Julia&#x27;s Ryder&#x27;s class and Nick&#x27;s Endo Boxing class. Everywhere I looked I was surrounded by motivated people and exceptional Endorphin instructors.&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;Endorphin is what I was looking for and the Endorphin community is what I needed to stick with it. Over the past 10 months I have lost 25 pounds and completely changed my relationship with working out. I have set healthier habits and fallen in love with the Endorphin community.&#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;Finding Endorphin stretches beyond finding just a gym, it&#x27;s the connection, the encouragement, the feeling of belonging no matter who you are or where you&#x27;re from. This inclusive space is for everyone. The &#x24;69 Intro Month is a great way to really dive into the community, but your First Class is always FREE.     <title>Is That All You Got&#x21;</title>

    <description>There are people in life that you are privileged to meet and know. Earl Glenwright, retired military, and self-proclaimed gentleman, and his wife Stephanie are two of those people.&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;I remember the day Earl walked into the gym. Walker, oxygen mask, and large oxygen tank in tow. Earl hit the equipment with fervor&#x3a; treadmill, rower, recombinant bike, lat pull down, lat row, leg extension, overhead press, tricep press at the pulley, and pull-up station.&#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;I watched Earl with admiration and quiet disbelief as he completed all of these exercises while stealthily maneuvering his oxygen tank from machine to machine.&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;The next day Earl showed up again. And the next. And the next.&#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;Although Earl seemed perfectly capable and endlessly determined, I thought it prudent to ask his wife about the state of his health. Stephanie let me know Earl had a heart condition but also let me know about Earl&#x27;s stubborn side. &#x22;Good luck stopping him,&#x22; she said with a wink and a smile. &#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;&#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;So many people use an injury, or some other challenge as an excuse not to work out or to not be their best selves. NOT this couple.&#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;Over their regular visits, our employees and guests bonded more and more with Earl and Stephanie&#x3a; Jen who braced and bandaged Earl when he took a fall from the rower&#x3b; Tommy and Vince while listening to Earl&#x27;s jokes and the &#x28;some would think&#x26;&#x23;8212&#x3b;politically incorrect &#x3a;-&#x29;&#x29; cartoons Earl found funny&#x3b; and, as Earl and Stephanie had spent some time in Brazil, we often exchanged greetings and small talk in Portuguese.&#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;You couldn&#x27;t help but be inspired by Earl&#x27;s motivation and determination. I got a kick out of the way people looked at him in disbelief as he completed his daily routine at the gym. Fitness was a part of Earl&#x27;s life, and nothing was going to get in his way. He maneuvered the oxygen tank around the various stations on his own and rarely asked for help.&#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;At some point, we even had to stop Earl from tackling the pull-up bar because the staff and his wife felt it was too dangerous. We tried to set up a TRX and show Earl a safer way to complete his morning pull-ups. However, it wasn&#x27;t surprising that Earl wanted nothing to do with our &#x28;wimpy&#x29; recommendations. It was the pull-up bar or nothing for Earl.&#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;AND then the pandemic...&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;At the end of April 2020, Eagle County public health orders were lifted to allow gyms to open with restrictions. The day before we were allowed to open, we were busy organizing and getting signs up at the gym, and who did I see standing outside&#x3f; Earl. &#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;When I saw Earl standing there, I smiled while my heart simultaneously dropped to my stomach with fear over whether or not to let Earl into the gym. With congestive heart disease, Earl definitely fell into the immunocompromised category. However, again, there was no stopping Earl.&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;I opened the front door and the first words out of Earl&#x27;s mouth were, &#x22;Are you going to let me in tomorrow&#x21;&#x3f;&#x21;&#x22;&#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;Earl and I discussed COVID. He knew the risks. I gave him some disinfecting tips, and he came in the next day with another mask over his oxygen mask. &#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;He joked that he had an advantage over others because he had oxygen under his mask while we were all bitching that we could not breathe.&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;Earl continued to come every day to the gym. His after gym routine included a cappuccino at Color Coffee and satisfying his love for word searches. &#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;Earl followed his daily routine religiously. &#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;Over the next year, we kept folks like Earl in mind as we navigated COVID. We grappled with questions like how do we keep our community together, in good spirits, and moving, knowing the risks as our understanding of COVID evolved&#x3f;&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;Two weeks ago, the staff from Color stopped by and checked in with us at Endorphin to see if we heard anything about Earl. Earl hadn&#x27;t been to the gym or Color Coffee in a couple of weeks. &#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;I reached out to Stephanie, his wife, and learned he was at Valley View Hospital. Earl&#x27;s health was in decline.&#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;A few of us at Endorphin were lucky enough to spend a few hours with Earl during his last days. I want to thank Stephanie for opening her heart and giving us this gift.&#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;Holding Earl&#x27;s hand on Monday, in a few moments that Earl was alert, I told him it was Corina from the gym and asked him to give me a few bicep rows. Earl proceeded to complete five with his right arm and five with his left. &#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;At that moment, I imagined Earl on the pull-up bar, oxygen again in tow, and thought to myself the next time I was thinking of giving up during my morning exercise routine&#x3b; I&#x27;d keep that vision of Earl firmly in my mind&#x27;s eye.&#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;&#x22;Is that all you got&#x21;&#x22;&#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;No Earl. I&#x27;ve got more. Much, much &#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;more.&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;On Tuesday, Feb 15th, Earl left this world. Earl, we will never forget how you inspired and motivated us every day &#x26;&#x23;8212&#x3b;at the gym and as a member of the Eagle community.&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;Let&#x27;s shower Stephanie and his family with love and celebrate Earl.&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;Earl Glenwright &#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;7&#x2f;7&#x2f;1933- 2&#x2f;15&#x2f;2022</description>

    <title>Discovering Foundation Training &#x28;FT&#x29;</title>

    <description>In September 2019, I was enjoying a massage until the therapist struck a spot on my backside that sent a wave of pain shooting down my right leg.&#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;&#xd;&#xa;I didn&#x27;t think much of it at the time, but that was the moment I discovered a new level of pain. &#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;Sciatica&#x21;&#x21;&#x21; &#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b; IYKYK, if you don&#x27;t, imagine stinging, burning, waves of pain running down your lower back to your feet..... all day long. &#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;Moving was almost impossible without having to fall to the floor in search of momentary relief.&#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;&#xd;&#xa;&#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;&#xd;&#xa;Being a new Dad of twins, I couldn&#x27;t just lay around suffering. My wife wouldn&#x27;t allow it. I had to find a solution quickly. I went to my doctor, and he prescribed pain killers. They dulled the pain but didn&#x27;t do anything to address the root issue. &#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;I went to a chiropractor next, and the adjustments provided temporary relief, but never longer than the ride home from the appointment. &#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;How was this happening&#x3f; &#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;I was a &#x22;youngish&#x22;, fit, yoga instructor. I thought I could stretch my way out of pain. Unfortunately, nothing was working.&#xd;&#xa;&#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;&#xd;&#xa;I had almost come to accept my fate when I discovered Foundation Training &#x28;FT&#x29;.&#xd;&#xa;&#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;&#xd;&#xa;To be precise, I found a 12-minute video on Foundation Training on YouTube that changed my life. &#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;Dr. Eric Goodman had a set of exercises that he guaranteed would end my back pain. &#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;After the first time through the workout, I felt significant relief. I was amazed&#x21; I came back to the exercise&#x27;s day after day, and the pain started to fade permanently. I had found a whole new world of thought on how to heal and prevent injuries. I began a daily practice of FT &#x28;usually 10-20 minutes&#x29; to work on strengthening my body to move the way evolution intended.&#xd;&#xa;&#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;&#xd;&#xa;Fast forward 2 years.&#xd;&#xa;&#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;&#xd;&#xa;I received my first certification in Foundation Training, and I have been integrating the exercises into my yoga classes ever since. Now I&#x27;m able to offer standalone FT classes at Endorphin in Denver, CO&#x21; I currently teach at their City Park and Central Park locations and would love to help you learn FT.&#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;&#xd;&#xa;&#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;&#xd;&#xa;Long story short.... if you are currently living with pain, recognizing bad posture, or want to prevent injuries, come and take a chance on something incredible. &#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;&#xd;&#xa;&#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;&#xd;&#xa;In Foundation Training, we&#x27;ll learn how to&#x3a;&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;	improve our breath by expanding the rib cage and increasing the oxygen level in our system&#xd;&#xa;	establish a strong anchor to stabilize the body as we move through the world&#xd;&#xa;	develop movement patterns that put the hips back at the center of movement where they belong and activate the posterior chain to put the work of carrying the weight of the body back into the muscles and out of the bones and joints. &#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;Stop living with back pain and start breathing better, moving better and feeling better with Foundation Training at Endorphin&#x21;&#xd;&#xa;&#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;</description>

One by one I drag each stationary bike from the warmth of the studio into the cold dark morning thinking, &#x22;is this really worth the effort&#x3f;&#x22; The choice was to either bike outside and breathe the fresh cold air, or wear a mask while working out inside. And then the students start arriving.. We joke about not feeling our fingers and whether the tiny speaker would wake up the neighbors with the pounding beats that led us into forgetting what was happening in the world for at least 45 minutes.&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;When I look back today at those cold mornings and think about the 15 or so people that would make the trek every Tuesday, I know in my heart it wasn&#x27;t only about the exercise. It was about connecting with our tribe in a lonely time. And it was about doing something good for our bodies when there seemed to be so much out of our control with COVID and our mental and physical health. Community took on an entirely new and important meaning.&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;From the first day I walked into an Endorphin cycle&#x2f;row class 7 years ago, the energy of the Endorphin members was like nothing I had ever seen. I went to that class hoping to sell the business some advertising and I walked out with an entirely new perspective on fitness. I remember trying to go back to my gym after that class. I jumped on the stair climber and all I heard was Chris Lindley&#x27;s voice telling me I could push harder than I thought. Needless to say, my membership was cancelled. Over the next couple of years, my body and mind completely transformed as I committed to going to classes 5-6 times&#x2f;week. Yoga, HIIT, HELLTH, Strength, handstand workshops. It was completely addicting, and I was able to deepen my physical capabilities in so many areas from endurance, strength, and even flexibility. I was stronger in my 30s &#x28;and 40s&#x29; than I had been in my 20s&#x21;&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;But something amazing happens when you are struggling to make it through that last set of burpees at 5&#x3a;00 a.m. You create a hard-core bond to the people next to you. You watch each other win, and fail, and sweat, and laugh, and sometimes cry. At first only within those walls, and then it blossoms into your tribe in life. I have made some of the best friends from spending time in this community working on our health. We&#x27;ve traveled to Maui and Costa Rica together and made incredible memories, all while kicking ass and pushing ourselves.&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;I got the itch to help others on this journey and soon started coaching. It was bumpy at first because I wanted so badly to make sure people not only had an amazing class, but knew I was pushing as hard as they were. Eventually, I just let go of that and started speaking from my own heart and just ENJOYING the music, sweat, and people. And this cracked open yet another new possibility for my life. I was realizing my passion was to help people discover their own power and bliss. I wanted the world to experience what I found deep within myself by coming to Endorphin classes.&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;Endorphin has continued to be my tribe over the years and is the place I have turned to in the darkest of times. Through stressful jobs, through divorce, and now through this pandemic. The movement is definitely a huge part of keeping sane. There&#x27;s nothing quite like pushing beyond what you perceive as your physical limits and the high that this gives you. But it was the warm smiles, the stupid jokes, and the strong hugs that have truly lifted me up.&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;Endorphin gives their teachers the space to bring their own style and with that, you get a wide variety of movement and classes. I continue to find new paths and opportunities as a teacher because of my time here. I even got a few people meditating regularly through mindfulness workshops. I now know that I won&#x27;t ever feel truly fulfilled until I&#x27;m spending my career helping others heal and grow. I&#x27;ve enrolled in an Integrative Healing Arts Practitioner program and am working to transition out of corporate life to do this full time&#x21;&#x26;&#x23;160&#x3b;&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;In a time where even exercise is bringing us in front of a screen more often &#x28;I won&#x27;t name names&#x29;, I know in my soul that nothing compares to gathering with your tribe to sweat&#x21; We don&#x27;t need more time looking at a screen in solitude. We need the connection to other humans for our mental and physical health. At Endorphin, you will push yourself harder, you will connect, and you will grow in so many ways within this community. The course consists of terrain that will challenge both skill and fitness with vistas and views that only the Colorado High Country can offer.&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;The 85 mile Ram&#x27;s Horn Escape will be an adventury jaunt with 10,500 ft of climbing. Sprinkle in some single track, a hike a bike or two, descents that will have you begging for mercy, and some of the most fantastic scenery you&#x27;ve experienced and you&#x27;ve got the perfect recipe for a great day on the bike.&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;- riders will compete for more than &#x24;10,000 in cash split evenly between Women and Men&#x21;&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;The 50 mile Little Bighorn is only slightly less rugged with and impressive 6,500 ft of climbing, and some of that teeth chattering down hill. Plan on a going for a hike with your bike a time or two but there&#x27;s still plenty of that fantastic scenery we were talking about.&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;There is also a 20 mile Gravel Curious option for those that want to see what this whole Gravel Hype is all about. This is a non-competitive option and if you&#x27;ve got an ebike, this one is for you&#x21;&#xd;&#xa;&#xd;&#xa;Saturday the 25th is the expo. A family friendly build up to the next day&#x27;s events, complete with live music, food trucks, beer, kids strider bike race and much more.&#xd;&#xa;</description>

Young man working the desk was super friendly and helpful&#x21;  I just bought a drop in yoga class but they let me work out while I was waiting for class to start.  Plus towels and shower after class were  a huge help&#x21;&#xa;&#xa;If I was a member, I would love for them to have a second stair climber  since it&#x27;s a popular piece of equipment.
